Cisco Technology Installation
Overview
NeonHawk was engaged by one of the leading Telecom and communications provider in the UK to design and implement a new network infrastructure for one of their London-based offices. The project involved installing large number of new Cisco switches and access points, ensuring seamless connectivity and enhanced network performance.
Challenge
Client’s existing network infrastructure was unable to support the growing demands of its London-based office. The company required a more robust and scalable network solution that could provide reliable connectivity for its staff and guests. The key challenges included limited network capacity, inadequate wireless coverage, outdated network equipment and limited network traffic visibility and control.
Solution
We worked closely with client’s IT team. We implemented a modernised network solution built on Cisco’s technology. This included the installation of Cisco Catalyst switches to increase capacity and reliability, along with number of Cisco Aironet 3800 access points to deliver seamless wireless coverage across all office areas. The project also involved tailored network design, optimised traffic routing, and comprehensive training to equip IT team to manage the new system confidently.

The results have been outstanding. Client achieved 99.99% network uptime, giving their teams uninterrupted access to the resources they need. Wireless coverage is now seamless throughout the office, creating a much better experience for both staff and guests. Advanced security features have strengthened their defences against cyber threats, while centralised network management has simplified operations for our IT team.
